Opal Frost Mustang Registry (OFMR) Member # 00096
"Hi, Here are the details of my Opal Frost Mustang. It's a 1996 model year (built November 1995) 3.8 L (V6) Automatic with a little over 65,000 kms from new (around 40,000 genuine miles). Sold new originally in Japan, it was imported to UK in 2008, then bought by me in March 2011 and then imported into Gibraltar (a British colony in southern Europe). It has a few subtle differences to the US version, ie locking gas filler cap, wheel arch (fender) moldings and seems to have older version rear lamp clusters (1994-95). It also has a glass-fibre bonnet (hood). It's in excellent original condition and drives like a new car. It no longer has the registration plates shown on the attached pics, (that was the UK registration number). It's now registered "G 1954 C", which happens to be the year I was born. I'd love my car to be shown on your website. This is my second American car. The first was a 1957 Chevy Belair 4 door Sport coupe I bought for the princely sum of £60 (around $100) in 1972 when I was 18... How times change."
"The 6th picture (above) is an aerial view of my home city of Gibraltar. I mean all of it! A British colony on the southernmost tip of Europe, it has been British since 1704 (or longer than the USA has been in existence). Three miles by five miles 'big' it's obviously a very small place, with a population of around 30,000, but it's still home to around a dozen Mustangs, ranging from a '65 289, a '67 302, a couple of 94-96 models (both V6's) and several post 2005 models, including my own brother's 2010 V6 in red. Mine is the only Opal Frost one though."
