Listen to the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500's Four Exhaust Modes
Here's what the 700-plus-horsepower GT500's exhaust sounds like in Quiet, Normal, Sport and Track mode.
Ford brought the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 to New York for a quick visit after its debut at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We didn't get to drive it, but we did get to hear what that supercharged 5.2-liter V8 sounds like in each of its four exhaust modes.
Like lesser Mustangs, the GT500 has four exhaust modes: Quiet, Normal, Sport and Track. We got to hear it rev in each mode, inside and outside the car. Our verdict: You're gonna want to keep it in Track mode at all times.
