John Knighton's 1986 Ford Mustang SVO
Some couples cherish special greeting cards or movie tickets as reminders of their early days together, but John and Bobbie Knighton have a turbo-charged keepsake.
John Knighton purchased a 1986 Ford Mustang SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) Mustang in Houston on Aug. 8, 1986, about six months after he and Bobbie started dating.
The Knightons were married on June 3, 1989. These days, the SVO Mustang is in the garage of their southeast Ocala home.
