Ford Offers Huge Discounts on 2020 Edge

You can get up to $7,250 off.

There's still lots of hype for Ford's Bronco, Mustang Mach 1, and Raptor, but it seems that Ford is looking to get rid of some excess stock of the Edge SUV. In May, Ford was offering discounts on it already but then we reported that the Blue Oval may cancel its plans for the next generation of the vehicle, suggesting that one of two things is happening: either the Edge is getting remodeled for 2021, which seems unlikely, or Ford is trying to push more new-car buyers into the Bronco Sport. The latter seems to be the pervading theory, but for anyone who doesn't care and is simply looking to save some cash now, there are discounts seemingly everywhere.

However, if you're keen on saving some cash on a new Edge, you'd best make your way to a dealer fast as the specials are only confirmed for October and the beginning of November. It's also worth remembering that part of the discount is a Trade Assist offer. There's a two-tier incentive plan in place, with Titanium and ST models receiving a higher discount of up to $7,250 while lesser models get a smaller but still substantial discount of as much as $4,500. There's also the offer of zero percent interest for 60 months plus a cashback offer of $5,250 for new Titanium and ST models in certain markets.
