For Sale: 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible (Vintage Burgundy, 260ci V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang convertible was acquired by the seller’s late grandfather-in-law in 1976. Refinished in the 1980s in burgundy over black, the car is powered by a 260ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a black soft top, 14″ ventilated wheels, a cassette player, a center console, and finned valve covers. Service in February 2021 included overhauling the brakes, rebuilding the carburetor, and replacing the fuel pump. This early Mustang convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the grandfather’s estate with a recent receipt and a Tennessee title issued in June 1976.
