This 1969 Ford Mustang GT was built at Ford’s Metuchen, New Jersey, assembly plant on October 22, 1968 and delivered to Hundley Motor Co. of Wheeling, West Virginia. The car is said to have spent time with two owners in Ohio before it was acquired by the seller in 2011 and subsequently relocated to Ontario, Canada. A refurbishment was reportedly completed by Benza Motors of Milford, Ohio, approximately 11 years ago under prior ownership, and additional work is said to have been performed under current ownership by Vintage & Performance Restorations of Ontario, Canada. The car is finished in Royal Maroon over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 428ci “Cobra Jet” V8 partnered with a four-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential. Additional equipment includes a push-button AM radio, a shaker hood scoop, front and rear spoilers, quarter panel scoops, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 14″ styled steel wheels. This “Cobra Jet” Mustang GT is offered with shop manuals, a Deluxe Marti report, a copy of its window sticker, a 1969 Mustang brochure, and Ontario registration in the seller’s name.
