2022 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Review (carwow)

This is the all-American Ford Mustang Mach 1, and Mat’s about to find out if it really is THE must-have sports coupe in 2022!

Kicking off with the exterior design, there’s no mistaking the Mach 1 for anything other than a Mustang. This edition comes with a few upgrades over the standard GT version, including quad tailpipes as standard, while you’ll also find a rear diffuser around the back and a front splitter up top.

Once you step inside, you’ll find a digital driver's display along with an okay-sized infotainment screen … Although it doesn’t come with sat-nav! Thankfully it does at least have Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.

And naturally, you know with it being a Mustang, you’ll find something special under the bonnet … A naturally-aspirated 5-litre V8! What’s more, this has been tuned to kick out 460hp — 10hp more than the GT!

So what do you think — is this the must-have sports coupe of 2022? You’ll need to stick with Mat to find out!
