2018 Ford Mustang GT Performance Pack Level 2 First Test

This is not a comparison test. And it is a comparison test -- sort of. Right after they scan the car's performance results, we know the first question from the Blue Oval faithful and Bowtie Brigade is going to be, "Is the 2018 Mustang GT with the new Performance Pack Level 2 (PP2) as good as the Camaro SS with the 1LE package?" Although we did not have both cars at the same time to do it properly, they were, in fact, tested in the same locations and by the same drivers. Because both were included in our annual Best Driver's Car Tests (2016 and 2018), we have pages and pages of detailed staff notes on both, from their respective test days, and from the road.
