San Antonio father's kids find, buy back Mustang he sacrificed 17 years ago to support them

In the 1990s, Wesley Ryan was known around the San Antonio softball community for his beloved Ford Mustang GT. Though his now-grown children, Jake and Jeni, were toddlers when he zipped around in "Christine," a name taken from the 1983 movie, they were well aware of his attachment to the car.

In the early 2000s, Laura Ryan, Welsey's wife and high school sweetheart, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Under the pressure of mounting medical bills, Wesley decided to sell the 1993 Mustang.
