1995 Ford Mustang GT "Clarion Audio" Edition
Only 5 Clarion Audio Mustangs were created.
Back in 1995, Clarion Audio bought five brand new Ford Mustangs and outfitted them “rolling sound labs” to demonstrate the company’s newest car audio sound systems.
The cars were outfitted with Clarion systems, which included in-dash cellular phones and color televisions, and were custom painted by Doug Starbuck in Riverside, California, using PPG and House of Kolor candy and a design by artist Kristina Magnasun. Their dynamic capabilities were enhanced with Eibach springs.
Speaking of enhanced dynamics, the cars also got Kenne Bell superchargers for their 5.0-liter V8 engines, Saleen S351 wings and body kits, and Carroll Shelby Torq Thrust MS gunmetal gloss wheels. Work was done by Galpin Ford, and the cars got Galpin Ford badging.
