Steeda Releases New Steve McQueen Edition Mustang Bullitt
The new Bullitt is awesome. No question about it. But Steeda Autosports knew it could be even better. Steeda has “taken the Bullitt to the next level” and designed a Steve McQueen Edition Mustang Bullitt package.
Steve McQueen is a legend in the automotive world, and most certainly in the Mustang realm. Though he’s been gone for decades, the rebellious badass remains a figure synonymous with Mustang performance and the ultimate thrill ride.
His character, Frank Bullitt, in the 1968 film “Bullitt” was a San Francisco Police Lieutenant with an affinity for a Dark Highland Green 1968 Mustang.
It goes without saying then that Steeda would intend to memorialize such a figure in the creation of a specialty Mustang. Steeda worked alongside McQueen Racing and Chad McQueen to design and build the official Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt Mustang, of which only 300 will be built per year. The stunner features a new Ford Mustang Bullitt as its base, with substantial chassis, suspension, and drivetrain upgrades. Steeda counts the addition of over 27 individual components, all designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA.
