For Sale: 1937 Ford Coupe Utility Street Rod
This 1937 Ford Coupe Utility is an Australian-market ute that was acquired by the seller 18 years ago as an abandoned wreck in western Australia and brought into Canada. The steel body was subsequently mounted to a custom-fabricated boxed frame with C4 Corvette running gear and air-ride suspension, and power is from 3.9-liter V8 and five-speed automatic transmission sourced from a 2000 Lincoln LS. Additional modifications include a shortened bed, a lengthened hood, shaved hinges, a flush-mount tailgate, and candy red paint as well as modern sport seats, a custom dash and console, and more. The car was reportedly shipped to shows in the Kentucky and California before sitting for the last eight years. This custom ute is offered with British Columbia registration listing it as a 1937 Ford pickup in the seller’s name.
