For Sale: 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Race Car (Grabber Blue, 302ci V8, 4-speed)
This 1970 Ford Mustang was produced in Dearborn, Michigan as a G-code Boss 302 fastback and has since been rebuilt in the style of the Trans-Am racing cars of the 1970s. It reportedly was acquired in California by the current owner in 2016 as a partially assembled roller project initiated by the previous owner nearly 20 years prior, and it was subsequently subjected to a three-year refurbishment for use in open track or SVRA or SCCA environments. Power is provided by a replacement G-code 302ci V8, which is paired with a Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a Detroit Locker differential. Further updates include Bilstein shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, a custom-fabricated roll cage, a Hurst shifter, Kirkey racing seats, a Fuel Safe fuel cell, and more. This Boss 302 is offered with dyno results and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
