For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible (Vintage Burgundy, 289ci V8, 3-speed auto)

This 1965 Ford Mustang convertible was built on May 29, 1964, and is powered by a D-code 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car reportedly was acquired out of Macon, Georgia, from the family of a long-term previous owner prior to a refurbishment in 2016 that included refinishing the body, refreshing the interior, overhauling the braking and suspension systems, and rebuilding the powertrain. Finished in Vintage Burgundy over a black vinyl interior, the car features a powered black soft top, Rally-style wheels, and bucket seats. The current owner acquired the car in 2019 and has driven the car less than a few hundred miles since his acquisition. This early first-generation Mustang convertible is being offered by the selling dealer on consignment at no reserve with a clean Ohio title.
