For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe (modified, red, 331ci V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe was built at Ford’s Metuchen, New Jersey assembly plant in September 1965 and was acquired by the seller out of Virginia in 2002. The car was repainted red under previous ownership, and power is supplied by a replacement 331ci stroker V8 equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and MSD ignition. Shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission, and additional modifications include chrome 14″ wheels, Global West springs, Edelbrock shocks, a B&M shifter, bolstered black vinyl seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and more. Servicing in August 2020 included replacement of the wheel cylinders and spark plugs, a transmission service, and rebuilding the carburetor. This Mustang coupe is offered in Georgia with partial service records, factory seats, spare parts, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
