This 1973 Mercury Montego GT has been with the seller for 23 years and has been modified with a stroked 528ci V8 featuring AFR aluminum cylinder heads, a hydraulic flat-tappet camshaft, and a baffled oil pan with a windage tray. Additional equipment includes a three-speed C6 transmission with a manual valve body, a 22-gallon fuel cell, Kirkey racing seats, a six-point roll bar, adjustable shocks, Eaton lowering springs, StopTech brakes, and more. Since acquiring the car in 1997, the seller has also performed rust repair, repainted the exterior in red with black stripes, and rebuilt the 3.25:1 rear end as well as using it in several half-mile, standing mile, and open road events.
