For Sale: 1988 Ford Mustang GT (modified, 347ci V8, 3-speed auto, 54K miles)
This 1988 Ford Mustang GT drag racer has been modified with a supercharged and intercooled 347ci stroker V8 as well as a Level 10 C4 three-speed automatic transmission, a Paxton fuel system, Accel DFI engine management, Kooks exhaust headers, MSD digital ignition, an SCS shifter, a roll bar, and more. The car was reportedly used as a promotional vehicle for the restaurant business of New Jersey politician Nelson G. Gross before being inherited by his son, who is said to have raced it at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey and then parked it for 13 years before donating it to non-profit organization The Great Carma Foundation. Proceeds of the sale as well as the BaT buyer’s fee will go to the organization, which raises funds for schooling in skilled trades. This modified Fox-body is offered with service and build records, a clean Carfax report, and a New Jersey title in the name of the The Great Carma Foundation.
