For Sale: 1921 Ford Model T Champion Torpedo Speedster
This 1921 Ford Model T is said to have been discovered without fenders, wheels, or floors in a scrapyard following the Second World War, and is thought to have been refurbished under previous ownership in the 1970s before its acquisition by the seller in 1996. The car features a 1920s speedster-style body that was reportedly sourced from Champion Racing Body Co. of Chicago in addition to Model T roadster fenders, Rocky Mountain brakes, and other period components. Power is provided by a 177ci inline-four that features a Claudel Racing carburetor and is mated to a two-speed planetary gear transmission with a Universal Auxiliary Overdrive gear splitter. This Model T is offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
