For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback (GT350R-tribute, K-Code, 289ci V8, 5-speed)

This 1966 Ford Mustang began life as a K-code fastback and was acquired by the current owner in 2006. The car was built into a GT350R tribute in 2013 with a color change to Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue stripes, GT350R-style bodywork, and 15″ Torq Thrust wheels. Power is supplied by a K-code 289ci V8 linked with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission equipped with a Centerforce clutch and flywheel. Additional modifications include Cobra valve covers, a custom exhaust, Koni Classic shocks, a roll bar, a replacement dash with a Shelby gauge set, and more as detailed below. Approximately 1k miles have been added since the build was completed, and it is now being offered on dealership consignment with removed factory parts, build photos and records, and a clean Illinois title.
