This 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 fastback reportedly was a floor model at Paul’s Ford Sales Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri and was fitted with a later 427ci side-oiler V8 by the dealer prior to its initial sale in March 1969. The car was refinished in blue with white top stripes in 2007, and after the seller’s acquisition in 2008 the black interior was refreshed. Paperwork shows that factory equipment included a three-speed C6 automatic transmission, 10-spoke wheels, front disc brakes, air conditioning, and tinted glass. Service over the past few years reportedly has included an alignment, installing stainless-steel brake lines, as well as replacing the fuel tank, carpeting, seat foam, and seat covers. This GT500 is now offered with a window sticker, a Deluxe Marti report, a car cover, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
