David Tucker's 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible is a Dream Come True
David Tucker’s Mustang Story:
David Tucker wanted a 1969 Ford Mustang convertible since he was a 16-year-old student at Forest High School.
Following his service in the U.S. Air Force in 1979, he finally bought one.
“I liked the look, and I always thought the 1969 Mustang was the prettiest,” Tucker said.
Tucker, now 67, has made numerous appearance and performance modifications to his red 1969 Mustang, including a functional shaker hood and spoiler trunk lid. A complete restoration was done by 1994.
The car received an Award of Excellence at the 30th Mustang Anniversary Celebration, held April 15-17, 1994, at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The vehicle, now 51 years old, is still looking great and going strong.
