Ford Vs. Chevy: A Rivalry for the Automotive Ages Rages On (Cars.com)
It’s one of the most heated rivalries in the history of the automotive industry, if not the history of the U.S. itself. Ford versus Chevrolet is up there with Yankees versus Red Sox, Democrat versus Republican, Dallas Cowboys versus anyone, “Star Trek” versus “Star Wars.” The rivalry has spawned internet vitriol, crude unauthorized reproductions of a beloved comic strip character, ridiculous acronyms (Fix or Repair Daily, Can Hear Every Valve Yell) and probably a non-zero amount of actual violence.
How do the two brands actually compare, vehicle to vehicle? In three of Cars.com’s recent comparison tests involving both automakers, Ford entries earned higher marks than the comparable Chevy.
