For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe "Indianapolis 500" Pace Car Edition (260ci V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1965 Ford Mustang coupe is one of approximately 190 produced to commemorate the 48th Indianapolis 500 pace car. The car was refurbished between 2006 and 2008 and was acquired by the seller in 2013. It is finished in Pace Car White with blue stripes over a white interior and is powered by a 260ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes pace car graphics, 14″ steel wheels with polished covers, dual exhaust outlets, chrome trim, a radio, polished door scuff plates, lap belts, and a fire extinguisher. This Mustang coupe is now offered at no reserve with factory literature, service records, a 1964 Indianapolis 500 program, and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
