Looking Back at the Ford Mustero

Pushing the boundaries with the brand "Mustang" is nothing new to Ford. Perhaps the most unique of them all was a little known pickup, called the Ford Mustero.

Ford had overwhelming success when the 2-door pony car was introduced in the mid-60s and they aimed to bank on this opportunity. At the time, they offered a 2-door coupe, a convertible, and the fastback, then Ford allowed a Southern California dealership to make the most unique Mustang of them all, a pickup known as the Ford Mustero.
