2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Handling Package Costs $10,000

The 2021 Ford Mustang family is set to roll out very soon, and we expect the official Ford build and price configurator to reflect that any day now. However, if you’re keen on getting a 2021 Mustang, perhaps the new Mustang Mach 1, you can contact your local Ford dealer to get the process started. Just as well, you can order the 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 with the new Carbon Fiber Handling Package, as revealed in the official order guide. And, according to a customer order form shared with MC&T by a reader, the 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Handling Package is priced at $10,000 USD.

The 2021 Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Handling Package will include 20-inch carbon fiber wheels that are painted black, new-for-2021 adjustable strut top mounts, a catch can, a Gurney flap in the rear, splitter wickers and a wheel locking kit. Unlike the $18,500 Carbon Fiber Track Package available on the S550 Mustang Shelby GT500, the rear seats stay in place, as do the standard Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The Track Pack gets the might Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, which is supremely effective at lateral grip traction, but not as good at forward acceleration. Exposed carbon fiber wheels, instrument panel, and massive GT4 carbon fiber wing remain exclusive to the 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Package, as well.
