For Sale: 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302S Race Car (#11 of 50, black, 5.0L V8, 6-speed)
This 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302S is #11 of 50 factory-built race cars offered via Ford Racing for the model year, and it has competed in SCCA, World Challenge, and Trans Am events. Power is provided by a refreshed 5.0-liter V8 tuned by MPR Racing Engines of Boynton Beach, Florida, and the engine is mated to a Tremec T-6060 six-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes an adjustable front splitter, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, 18″ BBS wheels, Brembo brake calipers with slotted rotors and an optional specially calibrated anti-lock system, a FIA-specification roll cage, an OMP racing seat, and a fire-suppression system. During current ownership the car was refurbished, including stripping and refinishing the chassis, repainting the body in black, and the installation of re-valved Multimatic dampers with remote reservoirs, suspension work, a fuel cell, exhaust headers, and a tuned exhaust system with an X-pipe. This Boss 302S race car is now offered in Florida on a bill of sale with refurbishment photos and an SCCA logbook.
