For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible (Tahoe Turquoise, 289ci V8, 3-speed auto, 84K miles)
This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible is said to have resided in California since new and was purchased by the seller in 1991. The car is finished in Tahoe Turquoise with a white convertible top over Aqua vinyl and powered by a C-code 289ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a 2.80:1 rear end. Equipment includes air conditioning, 14″ styled steel wheels, a dual exhaust system, front disc brakes, and a refurbished front suspension. Service completed in preparation for sale consisted of replacing the battery and cables, driver-side window regulator, intake manifold and valve cover gaskets, ignition coil, and the distributor cap and rotor as well as a carburetor refurbishment. This first-generation Mustang is offered with service records and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
