This 1970 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 fastback was built on June 16, 1969, in Dearborn, Michigan, and is one of 104 “Super Cobra Jet Drag Pack” examples produced for the model year. Sold new by Larry Lange Ford in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the car spent time in several states before being refurbished between 2005 and 2007 by Riter Restoration in East Rochester, New York. The car was acquired by the owner in 2016 and is finished in Grabber Blue with white side stripes over black vinyl upholstery. Power is provided by a 428ci “Super Cobra Jet” V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.91:1 Traction-Lok differential.
