For Sale: 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Fastback (Brittany Blue, 428ci "Cobra Jet" V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is one of 2,048 GT500 fastbacks produced for the model year and was completed by Shelby American, Inc. on July 13, 1967. It was delivered new to Tallakson Ford in Seattle, Washington and reportedly remained with its original owner until 1984. A refurbishment was carried out in 1989 and the car was acquired by the current owner in 2018. The body is finished in Brittany Blue over black vinyl, and power is provided by a replacement 428ci “Cobra Jet” V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15” Kelsey-Hayes Mag-Star alloy wheels, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, a fold-down rear seat, three-point front seatbelts, and an AM radio. Work carried out in anticipation of the sale included rebuilding the carburetors, sorting the wiring, and changing the fluids. This Shelby GT500 is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, SAAC Shelby Registry documents, recent service records, and a clean Oregon title.
