This 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 was first sold by Johnson Ford of Hialeah, Florida, and it underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment before it was acquired in North Carolina by the seller in 2013. Power is supplied by an R-code 351ci “Cleveland” V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and the exterior is finished in Medium Yellow Gold, and the car is equipped with a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential, Ram Air intake, a competition suspension system with KYB shocks, front disc brakes, Magnum 500 wheels, high-back front bucket seats, a Hurst shifter, a Philco AM radio, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Work during current ownership included servicing of the brake and suspension systems as well as replacement of the starter, clutch equalizer assembly, transmission and motor mounts, and battery.
