This Ford Thunderbird is a Robert Yates Racing NASCAR racer that was reportedly campaigned in nine Winston Cup Series events by Davey Allison during the 1992 and 1993 seasons, along with another 22 races at the hands of Ernie Irvan, Kenny Wallace, and Dale Jarrett through the 1997 season. It achieved a total of six victories and ten top-five finishes during its career, with one win attributed to Allison in 1992 at the North Wilkesboro Speedway and the other five split between Irvan and Jarrett. The car was rebuilt by Bill Elliott Racing Enterprises following damage sustained from a collision and was acquired by the current owner approximately 12 years ago. Power is provided by a 358ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in black with #28 decals and a Texaco/Havoline livery.
