This 1994 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra “Indy 500 Pace Car” Convertible is one of 1,000 examples that were built to commemorate the Mustang’s selection as the pace car for the 1994 Indianapolis 500 and was delivered new to Holiday Motor Corporation of Blacksburg, Virginia. It is finished in Rio Red over a saddle leather interior with a matching convertible top and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and Traction-Lok rear axle. Features include Indy-500 winged tire logos embroidered on the front seat backs, a rear spoiler, air conditioning, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, a Mach 460 audio system with a CD player, cruise control, and remote keyless entry. The car spent time in Virginia and was acquired by the owner in 2020. The Mustang Cobra shows 164 miles and is offered on dealership consignment in Florida with an original window sticker, a set of unused Indy 500 Official Pace Car graphics, and a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin.
