For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe (Wimbledon White, modified, 289ci V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1965 Ford Mustang GT coupe was sold new by Ken Roggy Ford of La Puente, California in April 1965. The car was refinished in Wimbledon White over black in the mid-1990s and is powered by a rebuilt 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a 600-cfm Holley four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum radiator, export and Monte Carlo braces, an 8″ rear axle, 14″ styled wheels, front disc brakes, a Wilwood master cylinder, a front bench seat, a retro-style radio, a Rally-Pac, and fog lights. The current owner acquired the car in 2015 and has added nearly 6k miles. Subsequent service has included partially refinishing the car, rebuilding the engine, and overhauling the brakes. This modified Mustang GT is now offered at no reserve on dealership consignment with an owner’s manual, several books, a binder of receipts, a maintenance spreadsheet, and a clean Oregon title.
