For Sale: 2005 Ford Mustang FR500C Race Car (blue, 5.0L "Cammer" V8, 6-speed)
This 2005 Ford Mustang FR500C is a factory-built race car designed to compete in the Grand-Am Cup series and powered by a replacement 5.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a rear wing, 18″ Forgeline wheels, Brembo brakes, adjustable Koni shocks, a Grand-Am-specification roll cage, and a fire-suppression system. The car was campaigned in the series by Columbus Truck and Roush Yates through the 2009 season and was retired after completing one race in 2010. The seller acquired the car in 2014 and subsequent work consisted of exterior and interior paintwork, servicing the safety equipment, and replacement of the clutch, flywheel, braking components, front wheel bearings, and front lower control arms and bushings.
