For Sale: 1991 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe (Bright Red, supercharged 3.8L V6, 5-speed)
This 1991 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe was reportedly ordered new for NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon by Carolina Ford Dealers through Ford Motor Company and was acquired in March 1992 by a family friend, who owned the vehicle until 2018. It was later sold, and acquired by the seller in 2020. The car is finished in Bright Red over black leather and is powered by a supercharged 3.8-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a Traction-Lock limited-slip differential, a power-operated sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, Automatic Ride Control active suspension, and an aftermarket Kenwood CD stereo. Work carried out during current ownership included resealing the transmission, differential, and power steering gear, along with replacing the clutch assembly, engine and transmission mounts, front suspension components, belts, and more. This Thunderbird S/C is now offered with service records, a Deluxe Marti Report, a Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
