This 1982 Mercury LN7 was manufactured by the Saint Thomas Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada, and it was purchased new in February 1982 from Tasca Lincoln-Mercury of Seekonk, Massachusetts. The vehicle’s original owner was the spouse of the owner of the Benny’s retail chain of stores; according to the seller, she won the car after attending the 1981 Chicago Auto Show, where she was the winning entrant in a contest. The car was subsequently registered to Benny’s, Inc. of Rhode Island, and it was later purchased by the second owner in 2006 and acquired from that person by the seller in 2018. Finished in red over black leather, the car is powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four mated to a three-speed automatic transaxle. Now showing 19k miles, this LN7 is offered in Georgia with a Deluxe Marti report, previous owners’ titles, manufacturer’s literature, dealership delivery paperwork, service records dating back to the 1980s, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
