For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback (green, C-code, 289ci V8, 5-speed)
This 1966 Ford Mustang is a C-code fastback that was built in January 1966 at the San Jose, California plant. The car was refurbished in Oregon in the 1990s with a repaint in green over black and a rebuild of its 289ci V8, which is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Other features include a four-barrel carburetor, Flowmaster mufflers, 15″ American Racing wheels, front disc brakes, power steering, folding rear seats, an armrest console with cupholders, and a Hurst shifter. The seller acquired the car in 2019, after which the suspension was overhauled, a front disc-brake system was installed, the clutch was adjusted, and the dash pad was replaced. This first-generation Mustang is offered at no reserve with a removed steering wheel, valve covers, and air cleaner assembly as well as unused kick panels with speakers, refurbishment photos, service records, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
