For Sale: 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 SportsRoof (Grabber Orange, 428ci "Cobra Jet" V8, 4-speed)
This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 SportsRoof was produced on September 24, 1969, and was delivered new to Al Piemonte Ford in Melrose Park, Illinois. The car is finished in Grabber Orange with a white hood stripe over white vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a 428ci “Cobra Jet” V8 paired with a four-speed Toploader manual transmission. Equipment includes a shaker hood, front and rear spoilers, fog lights, front disc brakes, power steering, an AM/FM radio, and 14″ Magnum 500 wheels. A refurbishment is said to have been carried out in the 2010s by BossCars of Gahanna, Ohio, prior to the selling dealer’s recent acquisition. This Mustang Mach 1 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, refurbishment photos, a build sheet, a Deluxe Marti Report, and transferable New York registration.
