For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H ("Hertz", black with gold stripes, 289ci "Windsor" V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H was delivered new to J.D. Ball Ford of Miami, Florida, and was initially part of a partnership between Ford and the Hertz car rental company. It is finished in black with gold stripes over black and powered by a numbers-matching 289ci “Windsor” V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Holley carburetor, electronic ignition, hood and side scoops, 14″ Magnum 500-style wheels, front disc brakes, a dash-mounted tachometer, an AM radio, floor mats, and a trunk liner. The car was acquired by the seller in late 2010, and service since 2019 has consisted of overhauling the carburetor and replacing the spark plugs, ignition coil, and battery. This GT350H is offered with a removed four-barrel carburetor and shocks as well as a letter from SAAC, a copy of the order sheet, manufacturer’s literature, various awards, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
