This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback race car was modified as a Shelby GT350R tribute under prior ownership. Refinished in blue with white stripes over a stripped interior with fixed-back bucket seats, the car is powered by a modified 347ci V8 paired with a four-speed Richmond manual transmission with straight-cut gears. Other equipment includes a 9″ rear axle, disc brakes, 15″ wheels, aftermarket suspension, side-exit exhaust, a roll cage, racing harnesses, a fire-suppression system, AutoMeter gauges, a vented rear window, and R-style bodywork. The seller purchased the car in 2016 and used it to win the MCSSC GT-1 class championship in 2019. This street-legal Mustang race car is now offered with logbooks, some service records, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.
