For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback (Shelby GT350 Tribute, 289ci V8, 5-speed)
This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback was refurbished and modified as a Shelby GT350 tribute during previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2017. The car is finished in blue with white stripes over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 289ci V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 17″ American Racing wheels, front disc brakes, plexiglass quarter windows, side scoops, a fiberglass hood, an Edelbrock carburetor, an aftermarket head unit, and an aftermarket steering wheel. Work performed under current ownership is said to have included refreshing the cooling system, rebuilding the carburetor, installing the five-speed transmission and Total Control Performance manual rack-and-pinion steering, and replacing the fuel sending unit, oil pan gasket, and left rear wheel cylinder. This Mustang is now offered with a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.
