This 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR is #967 of 1,011 coupes produced for the model year, and it is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic with Vista Blue stripes over black leather and powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC V8 paired with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. “King of the Road” examples left the Ford assembly line as standard GT500s and were upgraded by the Shelby Automobiles facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, with KR-specific components including an SVT-tuned suspension, carbon-fiber body parts, Brembo front calipers, Alcoa forged-aluminum wheels, the Ford Racing Power Upgrade kit, and the Shelby interior package.
