This 1992 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 SSP notchback was initially used by the Michigan State Police (MSP) and assigned to the Grand Haven post in west Michigan until its decommissioning in 1995. The car is one of a reported 34 total Special Service Package Mustangs used by the Michigan State Police as pursuit vehicles beginning in 1989—and one of 20 added to the force in 1992. Powered by a fuel-injected 302ci V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle is finished in MSP-specific blue over a gray cloth interior. Additional equipment includes 15″ wheels, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, a stainless-steel Ford cat-back exhaust system, and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD player. The seller acquired the car in 2005 and has added less than 3k of its indicated 53k miles. This Fox-body Mustang is offered with a set of removed door shields, a radar unit, a siren, spotlights, and a “State Police” Michigan license plate as well as a clean Carfax report and a Michigan title in the seller’s name that notes “POLICE” above the VIN.
