For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback (red, modified, V8, 3-speed auto)
This 1965 Ford Mustang fastback was modified during prior ownership with a fiberglass GT350R-style front valance, widened rear fenders, an aftermarket hood scoop, and a rear spoiler. The car has been repainted red with blue ghost flames, and power is supplied by a bored and stroked V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional modifications include a 9″ rear end with 3.73:1 gearing, 17″ Boyd Coddington wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, high-back bucket seats, and an aftermarket stereo. It was acquired by the selling dealer around four years ago and work performed since is said to include an overhaul of the suspension and a replacement wiring harness. This modified Mustang fastback is now offered in Rhode Island with a clean Arizona title.
