For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang "GT350H-style" Convertible (black, gold stripes, modified, 289 Hi-Po V8, 5-speed manual)
This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible was rebuilt and modified in the style of a GT350H in the early 2000s during previous ownership. The car has been repainted black with GT350H-style gold stripes over a black interior and is powered by an overbored 289ci Hi-Po V8 equipped with three carburetors, a Comp Cams camshaft, and 9.6:1 compression pistons. Additional equipment includes a T5 five-speed manual transmission, a fiberglass hood, a roll bar, a front sway bar, KYB shocks, front bucket seats, and 14” American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. It was acquired by the seller in 2021, and recent work is said to have consisted of rebuilding the carburetors and installing a 16:1 ratio steering box. This Mustang convertible was featured in the June 2004 issue of Mustang Monthly magazine and is now being offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
