This 1989 Ford Mustang LX notchback is a Special Service Package (SSP) example that was first registered as a police vehicle in California before being modified into a race car in the 1990s and subsequently acquired by the seller in 2014. Power comes from a modified 331ci V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment consists of a wide-body kit finished in black, gray leather upholstery, Griggs Racing suspension, Wilwood disc brakes, a roll cage, HRE wheels, long-tube headers with fabricated X-pipe, a Ford 9″ rear end, and a Fuel Safe fuel cell.
