2025 Ford Expedition Gets More Expensive, New Tremor Starts at $83,025

The 2025 Ford Expedition lineup is smaller, but its price tags are bigger, with its base price rising by roughly $6K to $63,695.
The off-road-oriented Tremor has a $85,025 starting price, which is $11,225 more than the previous Timberline trim.
Rear-wheel drive is now limited to the entry-level Expedition, the long-wheelbase Max costs $3000 extra, and a fully loaded Platinum tops $95K.
The Expedition is Ford's largest SUV, and it receives a comprehensive redesign for the 2025 model year. Along with a new face and fancier features, the full-size SUV also has a smaller lineup that goes from six to four trim levels. However, the consolidation and the myriad updates have contributed to higher prices across the board, with the Expedition's new entry-level Active trim starting at $63,695 — about $6K more than the previous base model.
The Active trim is now the only Expedition that's available with rear-wheel drive; previously, every Expedition except the off-road-oriented Timberline was offered with rear- or all-wheel drive. Opting for four-wheel traction on the Active adds $3000, and the system is standard on everything else. The Expedition Max brings a longer wheelbase, which tacks another $3K onto the price of each trim.
The Tremor replaces the Timberline as the Expedition's top off-roader. It's still only offered with the standard wheelbase, but choosing the most rugged model now comes at a much higher price. Starting at $83,025, the Tremor costs $11,225 more than the Timberline. The Tremor does come standard with the high-output version of the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6, which makes 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.
