Ford Mustang Wins 2024 Muscle Car Sales Crown (Against Nobody)
Both the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger ended production in December 2023.
The best-selling muscle car in America was the Ford Mustang in 2024.
Surprised? You shouldn’t be. The Chevrolet Camaro ended production in December 2023, meaning inventory throughout 2024 was meager and fleeting. That said, a decent handful of folks still managed to scoop up the last of the sixth-gen car with 5,859 total new Camaros finding homes in 2024. Sales continued all the way into the fourth quarter with 109 selling in the final months of the year.
And then there’s the Dodge Challenger, which went out of production right after the Camaro in December 2023. Dodge says it sold 27,056 Challengers total throughout 2024, a very big number for a car that didn't see a single example of it roll off the production line during the calendar year …
