Although there are only a select few new cars that still offer a manual transmission, the ones that do still come with a stick-shift are among the most enticing sports cars, sports sedans, and hot hatchbacks on the market today. Road & Track ranked the best new cars that still offer a manual transmission in 2025, starting with performance cars, but also including a few more affordable and practical choices further down the list — including even a few off-road-oriented SUVs. Also listed is the price of the least expensive version that comes with a manual transmission, noting which trim levels or options are required for the three-pedal model where applicable.

2025 Ford Mustang

Thankfully Ford has elected to keep the six-speed manual around as an option for the latest Mustang, though it's no longer available on the base EcoBoost trim. If you want three pedals, you'll have to opt for the versions with a 5.0-liter V8 model, which include the GT and the Dark Horse. But we were going to get the V8 anyway …
