As it ambles toward its first full redesign in a couple decades, the Ford Mustang has divvied up its land into three neat parcels: SVT’s increasingly sophisticated Cobra occupies the hilltop, while the bourgeoisie are fed rental-fleet-friendly V-6s. In the middle, and lightly upscale from the meat-and-potatoes V-8-powered GT, is this new Living Legends special edition, dubbed Mach 1.
